Fabulosity, with an edge.

New Bravo Shows!

Bravo has released a list of 11 new seriess they have picked up, and 5 returning original shows! Guess who is going to tell you about them?! ME ME ME!

Well, I’m going to tell you about the ones I am excited about anyways. You can read the full list, here.

“Interior Therapy with Jeff Lewis”

Jeff Lewis, Zoila, and Jenni Pulos are back and better than ever in this new series spin off from “Flipping Out.” This time they move in with people. Flip their houses and change their personal lives. Juicy juice juice!

“Its a Brad Brad World” (working title)

BRAD GORESKI HAS HIS OWN SHOW! Squeee! It is a docu-series following his business ventures since his step down as Rachel Zoe’s assistant. I CAN NOT WAIT for this one.

“Ready to Wear” (working title)

This series follows the day to day life of four eccentric employees at the High End NYC consignment shop “Second Time Around.” The shop “makes dreams come true for shoppers looking for designer fashions on a budget.” It follows the employees looking through attics and garage sales for the best fashion finds in the city. I also am having a gaygasm for this one.

“Mad Fashion”

This series “presents an up-close look at the over-the-top world of celebrity fashion designer Chris March. From concept to delivery, each episode follows March, the former Project Runway alum, and his eccentric crew of fashion misfits as they create one-of-a-kind designs for his loyal clientele.” This one is going to be good too! Bravo has outdone themselves.

These are the shows I am on the edge of my seat waiting for, but there is a whole slew of other shows listed in their press release.

Check out all of the shows in more detail for yourself.

Siren Sunday

God, I think I’m absolutely addicted to alliteration.

Fagazine’s newest alliterized installment is “Siren Sunday” where I pick a Hollywood Siren, and let showcase some of her highest fashion feats.

Today is Hollywood’s most glamorous Hipster, Kate Hudson.

(She IS a hipster because not only does she listen to Muse, but she is the lead singer’s baby mama..)

Here she is in 2003 at the Oscars. She was wearing Atelier Versace, and looks timelessly beautiful. She hasn’t aged a day since then.

Here she is at the 2009 Paris premier of her movie “Nine.” Also wearing Atelier Versace. This gown is all about the drama. So of course I love it. But the detail on the bodice is really making me sweat.

Kate is looking equally flawless at the New York Premiere but I suppose having your mother Goldie Hawn as an accessory is an instant glamour boost.

This is a classic Kate Hudson (Styled by Rachel Zoe) moment. She wore this sexual-mullet gown by Emilio Pucci to the 2010 SAG Awards. It’s in my top five red carpet looks of all time.

Kate Hudson, you could NEVER lose a (gay) man in ten days. No matter how you tried. Your care free fabulosity is a magnet.

You go girl.

Editor-In-Chief of Fagazine,

Fashionable Fella: Brad Goreski

So many fashionista’s get put in the spotlight every day, but the A-List fashionisto’s are few and far between. So I am starting a segment where I will highlight my favorite fashionisto each week.

This week, we’re starting with one of my biggest celebrity crushes, Brad Goreski.

This preciously preppy stylist burst onto the fashion scene when he landed a gig as an assistant for Rachel Zoe, and was a starring role on her Bravo show The Rachel Zoe Project. He endured working with a hellacious bitch named Taylor, and the ups and downs of Rachel and Roger’s peculiar relationship.

Then he realized he needed to get out there and try new things.

Things worked out because he brought a client or two from Rachel’s styling firm with him, then landed his biggest job ever styling for Kate Spade’s runway show during fashion week in February of this year.

Brad needs his own Bravo show, because he is just as charming and adorable as Rachel, he won’t have a crying baby running around, and he isn’t so skinny the viewer is terrified he will drop dead at any second.

But he is drop dead gorgeous.

And aside from all those reasons, anyone who can stroll down the street in a ferocious bright red Hugo Boss suit deserves their show.

Congrats on your success, and keep up the good work, gurl.

Editor-In-Chief of Fagazine,

Glam: Anne at the Oscars

Annie may have been overcompensating all night long for James Franco’s stoned demeanor, but she did look absolutely gorgeous ALL night long.

Here are each of her looks from The Oscars:

Anne walked the carpet in Vintage Valentino Couture. Gorgeous.

Her first look for the show was from Givenchy’s Fall 2009 Collection.
Such a show stopper. Rachel Zoe knows how to find a show stopper.

THE SHOES. Those shoes are custom Brian Atwood pumps, and I am dying for them.  It’s nice when your stylist is best friends with designers like Brian. The tux is Lanvin and I love it as well. Such a light look.

This Vivienne Westwood gown was my least favorite look of the evening. It isn’t a horrible dress, but compared to everything else, not great.

Anne wears Oscar de la Renta Spring 2011 here. She looks better than the model.

Anne Hathaway looks better that the model once again, but in this case it isn’t hard. The model looks like RoboCop’s daughter. Armani Prive.

This was my favorite change of the evening. She is wearing Atelier Versace Spring 2011. Her hair, and the dress are perfection. She liked it best also, because she wore this look to the Vanity Fair after party.

Anne Hathaway’s final look of the evening was a Tom Ford creation. In true Zoe fashion, this dress abides by her “More is More” mantra. Its a perfect finale dress. Well done Mrs. Zoe, well done.

Oscars Red Carpet

Well, despite how awkward the hosting is for this years Academy Awards, there hasn’t been a shortage of breathtaking looks from out favorite celebrities on the Red Carpet.

Here we go, The Good:

The gorgeous Jennifer Lawrence in Calvin Klein. I love that she is only wearing a bracelet, no bling!

I’m bored with her hair, but Halle Berry looks gorgeous in this Marchesa gown.

Amy Adams in L’wren Scott. Are your spanx really that tight, gurl? Why you gotta make that face?

Hilary Swank wearing Gucci (I know, right? I thought it was Marchesa too). She looks gorgeous, but the dress it a bit much.

Helen Mirren. SHUTTING. IT. DOWN. I love this, and she is def channeling the fierce Miranda Priestly From “Devil Wears Prada.”

The Bad:

That demonic looking woman is Sharon Stone in YSL. I’m probably going to have nightmares.

WHAT a coincidence. Someone got my picks for worst dressed to post together! They were obvi thinking the same thing. Both dresses are gaudy and not appropriate for The Oscars, but I hate Nicole Kidman’s a wee bit more. It looks like a dress fit for battle.

The Best:

For best dressed this time around, there are three ladies in this category, because I couldn’t decide.

The first being Anne Hathaway. She looked stunning all night, and its because Rachel Zoe gave her a Red Moment, and a White Moment.

Here Anne wears Valentino.

And here Anne wears Givenchy. So gorgeous.

Cate Blanchett is the original risk taker on the Red Carpet, and she is perfection in this Givenchy gown.

Here is the dress from the back. Cate is every bit as elegant as her speaking voice. All Hail Galadriel!

Now, here is my Best Best Dressed:

Annette Bening is litchrally GLOWING in Naeem Khan. I lurved her in “The Kids Are All Right” and I lurve her even harder in this gown. Look at her bod! You go lady!

There you have it, my rundown or roundup, whichever you prefer, of the Oscar Red Carpet 2011!

I wasn’t disappointed!

Editor-In-Chief of Fagazine,

Melissa Leo should have picked a different “Fucking” dress.

Rachel Zoe; Werking Mom

(Rachel speak for: Out of Control)

Credit: The Vogue Diaries

Good thing she already has her own show. Any expectant mother who goes shopping in a Burberry Prorsom jacket, thigh high platform tranny boots, and a Givenchy bag deserves one.

May I also say, she looks MUCH healthier with the baby weight! Those premature age-lines have gone away! Congrats Rach!

Editor-In-Chief of Fagazine,

Rachel Zoe– Slow down Baby.

Rachel Zoe, the most fabulous Hollywood stylist is “to die” over the fact that she is eight months preggers.

But she needs her little bundle of Halston Happiness to stay put until AFTER the Oscars.  Several of her clients are going to be there (they’ll be the flashiest ones on the carpet, with the most ba-nan-as looks). But her biggest A-List client Anne Hathaway, “Annie” Rachel calls her, is Co-Hosting with James Franco.

Rachel has to find even more looks than normal with an evening of designer sequin laced quick changes looming over her head.

Rachel tells her baby boy he “has to stay put until after [The Oscars],” which is going to be a close call, she’s eight months pregs, and the oscars are on February 27th!

Best of luck Lady!

Editor-In-Chief of Fagazine,

Golden Globe Glamour.

I couldn’t think of a funny title for this post, so I turned to Alliteration.

The Golden Globes were as glamorous as they are every year, but I have two picks for best dressed this year because I could NOT decide who was more stunning. Yes, there is a worst dressed too. Don’t you worry your glitter filled heads.

First comes the worst:

Seriously? What was she thinking. Heidi fucking Klum is my worst dressed from the Golden Globes. Was she trying to look like a melted carton of cosmopolitan ice cream? The orange lipstick is so hideous I can’t even speak about it. Did her kids use a crayon on her? Rough.

Second is the best:

Anne Hathaway is styled by Rachel Zoe, and this dress is Ba-nan-as. I am usually not one to condone the color champagne for a dress, but toss on some giant shoulder pads and some sequins and I’m on board! She looks so classic “red carpet,” and is still incorporating the eighties fad that’s happening now. And that low cut back? Sex.

Third is the one with the treasure chest (between her legs):

Angeline Jolie is always glam on The Carpet, but besides her husband looking like a member of the Jersey Shore cast with his awful sunglasses, and slicked back hair, she has surpassed any look I have seen her wear. She has come a long way since the days of making out with her brother..

So there you have it. My picks for best dressed and worst from the Globes. Do you feel at peace now? Me too.

I think I have an unhealthy obsession with shoulder pads…

Editor-In-Chief of Fagazine,

PS: Regis Philbin announced he is retiring from Live with Regis and Kelly this summer. Sad. What will we do without that obnoxious screaming and sexual tension between he and Kelly at 9AM…
